The tranquil banks of Chiri River and Choto Jumuna Riverin Joypurhat provided the idyllic backdrop for a vibrant picnic organized by the Collective Voice, a Development Communication Center, under the patronage of the local non-government organization Action and Light. The event, held on March 9, 2024, was attended by an illustrious group of individuals, with Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Joypurhat Sadar Upazila, Mr. Fazle Wahid, gracing the occasion as the chief guest. Mr. Rafiqul Islam, the Upazila Fisheries Officer of Joypurhat Sadar, and Mr. Habibur Rahman, the Upazila Social Welfare Officer of Pachbibi, were esteemed guests of honor.

The proceedings commenced with an insightful inaugural speech by Dr. Sazzadul Bari, Chairman of Action and Light.
